I have a deep-seated love for nature and growing up in Africa and experiencing the bush, entices and draws you to look at wildlife in its own situation and ask questions on what is happening and how the natural world works together.
I strive to bring my own perspective to the images, through trying to understand the subject, studying details of its behaviour and also attempting to capture the special characteristics of the animal. I try capture the subjects presence and mood in its overall natural environment and sharing with others a different way in seeing the world through a Macro lens
Photography I find, improves your own attention and quietens the mind and it is this celebration of the small and simple natural beauty that I hope my approach portrays in the images.
My website is hence called ‘Concepts in Nature’ as it records my impressions, perceptions and ideas I see in Nature
